C10-18 TRIGLYCERIDES

C10-18 Triglyceride is also known as neutral oil. It acts as an emollient and as a solvent in cosmetics. (1) These compounds consist of three fatty acids esterified with a glycerol molecule.2,3 Triglycerides, including C10-18 triglycerides, are known in skincare for their moisturizing, skin barrier-protecting, and non-comedogenic properties. They improve the texture and stability of products, promote the absorption of active ingredients, making them suitable for all skin types.
