If you have little or no experience with Retinal, it makes sense to start with Absolute A and a low application frequency of 1-2 times a week, as otherwise side effects such as dry skin with flakes or irritations may occur. This is usually not an intolerance, but a side effect of the highly potent active ingredient. If you tolerate this concentration and frequency well, you can gradually increase the frequency to up to once daily. Then it is worth introducing Absolute A+, again following the steps as described. These are just recommendations, as it is very important to listen to your own skin and to reduce or increase accordingly based on that!
Note: Ectoin is a natural substance known as an extremolyte, as it is produced by bacteria as a protective agent against extreme environmental conditions such as heat, cold, dryness, and high salt concentrations. That is why Ectoin can protect the skin from environmental influences, provide moisture and strengthen the skin barrier.
