POLYGLYCERIN-3
Polyglycerin-3 is polymerized glycerin, which is used in cosmetic products to moisturize the skin. Due to its large molecular size, it penetrates the skin comparatively slowly, thus providing long-lasting moisture. Additionally, it forms a protective barrier, binds water, and locks it in the upper layers of the skin. For use in cosmetic products, it is considered recommendable and has been classified as safe within the scope of a safety assessment for cosmetic ingredients. (1)
