OLEIC ACID

Oleic acid is a monounsaturated fatty acid that acts as an emulsifier, enabling the formation of oil-in-water emulsions. Oleic acid can support wound healing by stimulating repair processes in the skin. (1) In higher concentrations, oleic acid can also increase the permeability of the skin, thereby improving the penetration of active ingredients into the skin, for example. (2)
